Exactly, this is why, in a way, you just tell those international buyer to back out since you asking them extra $15. And they don't like it. I got lots of nasty email saying my cards will not sell when I charge $15 registered mail. I got PMs saying that's my problem to ship with registered mail, not buyer problem. I got lots of ebay claims saying my shipping is too high for international.
Like you said, ebay problem favors buyers. That's why I put, "forum people" are better. At least if they screw you up, you can come here to talk about it. Screw up in ebay, no one cares.
Another example, an international buyer overbidded my $10 up to $100. I shipped out registiered mail. He filed the claim WITHOUT TALKING TO ME. I lost my card, my registered mail fee, my paypal fee, my ebay fee. Now, this is what I am talking about.

Yea there are people that is bad, but they are bad in any country, just more expensive international. Usually international items are hockey cards though, so as long as you don't deal with hockey cards, you got 95%b of buyers on eBay.

Basketball is international sports too. Especially when you try to deal with ppl in China, it is just hard to deal with their custom. :)

Thank you so much for the inputs.
May I ask more questions about buying and selling here? Sorry if these seem to be stupid questions.
So if I need something in this forum, I just PM the seller and paid by PayPal? If there is a problem, I can make a PayPal dispute like buying from eBay? Wire transfer or other forms of payment may not save unless I can really trust the seller? (Especially for high end stuffs) I never buy expensive stuffs in the forum like this one before so I would like to know some tips to be safe. (Not sure whether PayPal will help me a lot when I paid outsuide eBay too)
If I wanna sell some stuffs, just post and ask someone to pay by PayPal? (If buyers trust me, there may be other options to pay. Is that correct?)
These are complete newbies' questions.
Thank you again.

Good questions. I am new here and have never sold anything on forums or ebay. This thread will be very helpful once I start trading/selling when I get some decent cards.

Paypal will help you if you send as regular paypal. Meaning, DON'T send as "GIFT" option. "GIFT" option does not give you any protection. It only saves the fee on the seller side.
For expensive card, always use regular paypal payment. Ignore all the sellers asking you to pay as "GIFT" since they want to save 2.99% fee (which is not much, really). The only time I will do a seller's favor if the item is too small (less than $10). I'm ok to send as gift.
As for selling, I only take paypal and cash. Personal check is too dangerous as the account may not have enough fund and I have to pay for draft fee.

How does everyone ship base cards for set completion?
Do you put each card in a penny sleeve and all of them in a container or something?
BTW, can this thread be moved to the General section so it can get more views/replies?

Base cards are usually shipped in a team bag in small quantities. In larger quantities (100 or more), they're usually shipped in small box. It the cards are mid-high to high end, each card will get at least a penny sleeve.
The thread can be moved at the request of the thread starter by either replying here or using the Report Post icon to the left of the thread.

Sincerely, I don't know what and where the general section is? Chit Chat? (Well, I thimk shipping card is not off topic but there is one thread about shipping card in that section right now)
I'm a newbie in this hobby and I only interest to Basketball Card so this is the only section I come to find info.
Also, I have one more question. Now, my cards with top loader seem to be highly increase so how you guys keep them? I mean do you just put many cards in top-loader in your closet? Do you find a box or anything to display them? Cards with Top Loaders are larger and can't put in cardboard box so I wanna find something else to keep cards in Top Loaders.
Thank you.

I keep most toploaders in one of these:

I keep my prized cards in wall-mounted displays.
