    The Cup release prices

With the release of the cup this Friday, I am extremely excited! Any thoughts of how much one would have to fork out to land a Tavares, Duchene or Van Riemsdyk rookie /99? I am hoping i can get a Duchene for 400-500. Any thoughts?

I think the Duchene will go for much more than $400.

My guess is $800 for a 3 col Tavares, $600 for a 3 col Duchene and $300 for JVR 2 col.

makes sense, but I was thinking about a 1 color Duchene. The 3 colors are going to cost a lot because UD actually photographed most of the pack out. Therefore not as much of a risk of getting a fake off the bay

Maybe a 1 colour Duchene for $400-$500. We will just have to wait and see.

tavares and stamkos sell for around the same these days. Stamkos' gold cup card sold for $430 recently. Is it fair to say Tavares gold card will sell for around the same?

I'm getting a case as well, but I'm curious - what are people paying on avg for boxes or cases? The lowest I could find was at Dave and Adams for $2040. Is that pretty standard?

    My thoughts:
Tavares will start at $750 and go up to $1200, 091 $1500-2000
Duchene will start at $500 and go up to $900
JVR will start at $500 and go up to $750

For the singles, i think I will wait a few months for the prices to settle. Everytime new product goes live, the prices go haywire. I remember when the Tavares YG went live, people were buying it for $150!!! Now one can pick it up for $35-$40.

But I guess the only advantage in getting it now is that the card won't be overhandled or something, considering these are condition sensitive cards...

everyone just promise me if you're opening tins that you stock up on 130 pt holders. I can't stand it when I watch videos of box breaks where people slam the cards on the table or toss them aside, etc and not handling the precious cards with care....

    sorry i'll stop ranting :)

That is a good price for a case. At $350 a tin x 6 tins in a case that is $2100.
