2010 Theme Week #22- Best First Class Card
Welcome to Theme Weeks 2010! In week #21, we are looking for the best card of a player in the first hall of fame class. Look up those players if you can't name them off the top of your head. This week runs from today (9/27) until next Saturday (10/2) at 11:59 PM EST. All cards must be scanned or have their picture taken with a piece of paper that includes your SCF member name, date, and theme week number (This week is #22). Once a card has been entered into this week's theme, that card can't be entered into any other 2010 Theme Week, so choose wisely!
Voting will take place from the following Monday (10/4) and will last until 11:59 PM EST the following Sunday (10/10).
Each week, cards will have different "grading" standards as to what the winning card should most possess. They will be posted along with the voting thread. Remember, what matters more is the card itself, and NOT THE PLAYER!
Only one card may be entered per person. If a card is deemed to have no relation to the theme, you will not be entered in the week's voting. Each weekly winner will win 75cc, with 40cc to the second place finisher. In addition, the winner gains 1 point in the standings for the final prize. The second place finisher gets .5 point. Let's see those entries!

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth. Its a real nice looking card of him swinging - Babe was in the first class of the Hall Of Fame. This card, graded a 1, looks like a 2 grade. It got the 1 grade due to a small name written on the back. This is one of the most desireable cards in the hobby.

I think he met this particular week is over. The entry deadline for this was Oct 2 and we just need to vote by October 10th as soon as a poll is put up.

Yes, thats what i meant. This week there was no new contest up, and we should have been voting on last week's contest. I know there are 3 weeks left, but i got confused as to what happened this week.
