typical corey perry. that guy is 100% punk. runs goalies, picks on little guys and runs from big guys. he can't even beat a 4-time lady byng winner in a fight.

yeah he has Hudler and Holmstrom on the ice who aren't fighters per say but are tough hockey players and he picks to try and get his shots in on Datsyuk

Don't think Datsyuk landed a punch the whole fight lol. As for ripping Perry he makes up 1/3 up arguably the best line in the NHL guy brings it. Throws his weight more than 85% of guys in the NHL. Datsyuk was the closest person to him during the scrum. I'd have him on my team any day of the week. Memorial Cup Champ, World Junior Champ, Stanley Cup Champ, Olympic Champ. Not a bad resume for a "punk".

i see Corey Perry a lot as the Kings play the Ducks 6 times a year. this is what he does. i watched only a few shifts of the game and Perry ran the goalie and then fell on top of him on the one shift i saw.

i respect most hockey players whether i like them or not. i do not respect Corey Perry or his game.

Lol goalie wears the most gear on the ice deserves to get knocked around a little bit every now and then :)

he is a cheap shot artist that runs goalies and picks fights with a guy who hasn't been in a fight in his entire career. and i don't count running goalies as "throwing his weight around".
winning or no winning, he's a cheap hockey player. i don't like getzlaf or ryan but i respect their games. watch a full game and i guarantee Perry runs over or falls on a goalie at least twice in a game, takes at least two cheap shots at players and rarely fights - and when he does it's with guys like Datsyuk.

no respect for guys like that. it's a shame because he has some skill. but he's just a dirty hockey player.

you make it seem like he is one of the biggest dirty bags in the league, guys a stud. I understand he might play on the edge a bit, and i'll agree with that. Puts up to high of numbers to be a goon though.

I put him in the same category as Avery and Ott. Run goalies, take cheap shots at players, run from anyone that challenges them and will only fight small guys. Add Phaneuf to that list as well.

Talent or no talent, it's about playing the game the right way. If you're going to be a chippy player at least man up to it when someone challenges you. Don't go after defenseless goalies and skill guys that have won four Byngs.
