    Autographs on Index Cards

Has anyone had the experience with autographs on index cards where the ink kinda spreads or kinda blurs a little after the person signs the index cards?

Is there a special type of index card i should use to avoid this from happening again? (I used regular poster board and cut it into a 3x5 size)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys!

I've never had any trouble using regular 3x5 cards you can buy in packs of 100 at the store. They're only a dollar or two, you may have better luck with those.

That's all I've ever used and they've held up fine. I have a frame containing 3x5s signed by Doug Harvey, Joe Morgan, Bobby Doerr, and Lee MacPhail and its been displayed in the open under light for months and there's 0 bleeding or fading.

Inks used are all over the board as well- blue sharpie(thin and think), blue BIC pen, and black sharpie.

I literally found a 50 index card ring in the trunk of my car a year after we had moved and being left in the trunk of my car for over a year did not even make them bleed! The only way I could imagine an issue, is if they get wet!

Thanks guys maybe i will use index cards next time. None of you have used posterboard paper? The signature seems to be bleeding but i'm not sure if it's my eyes, but i'm pretty bummed :(
