2010-11 Panini Certified
Hey Guys and Gals,
I'm thinking about getting me some Panini, but before I do I just wanted to ask the people of the boards:
1. What are you paying per box for Certified IN CANADA. Please no, "It costs me $32/box at the New Jersey flea market". That type of stuff is no help what-so-ever.
2. What do you feel the value is? Are you getting bang for your buck? Is it worth the cash for the box bust? Are the cards fun, interesting, etc.
3. Should I just wait for Score and/or UD? Is UD even going to be worth getting this year?
Thanks, you guys and gals is awesome
Your Pal,
The Fat Man

Moved this up to the Panini discussion forum...
As to what I can contribute:
1. One of my stores here in Halifax is selling it at $115, the other has said he'll be $86 when he gets it in stock this week.
2. Judging from the number of people with "another Certified break" threads, I'd say that folks are enjoying it big time.
3. Certainly an option, but keep in mind that Score is pretty much the equivalent to Victory but with the odd auto in it. Outside of those, you're not going to get quite as high a value for your money - just look how good the Certified Subban RC redemptions are doing out of the blocks. As for the UD portion...YGs are always hotly desirable cards. :)
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

1. The two local stores that I go to costs $110 and $107 per box (that's after tax)
2. Boxes that me, my friends, and just about every one I've seen online have been of great value.
3. Get a box of Certified, you won't regret it ;)

1 paid 110 at my LCS
2 open 2 box and was pleased with the result
3 definitly try this as it's new and refreshing to open them and sale on ebay look to do well. Score is low end and Score back then never lifted up really.
From Score, all I remember is they were the only set to get out a Brodeur RC back in the days and cut the grass to all other companies, but other then this, score was like vircotry no more no less. Certified is more like BD with colored parral and nice insert with pleanty of jersey and auto via the inserts. nice quality of cards.

I opened 3 boxes of Certified this weekend and was disappointed with the product compared to Artifacts. Base cards are cheap looking, lots of damaged cards, to many parallels. On the flip side did like the jersey cards and their redemption program was much better then UD who limited their redemption hours two 2 to 4 hours per day, the rest of the time they just sat at the booth.
