well it all depends on what type of patch, if it was a letter then probably i would want that, but if it was just a plain jersey with a pinstripe or one tiny section of a patch, then probably no.

the patch actually should be either a full letter or centerpieces of the logo

If I were you I would keep it. but then again i started collecting in the 80's when error cards were really the only rare cards.

Besides this is a ginuine error card and its unique and its definately a true 1/1 because you wont see this card again (there are probably more variations of this card and topps probably call those 1/1 too in order to meet consumer demand, but I could be wrong).

Besides that is the biggest piece of bat ever seen on a card except for the bat barrels. nice pull

its not about the wood its the rarity of the card because his card maybe the only card in the set or of the player like that. thats just my opinion the card is pretty unique to me. besides no one really know whether dustin really wore the jerseys in an official game or while he was in his back yard cutting grass!lol besides every one knows that 1/1 are getting to be so common now in sets because of demand. just saying the card is unique.

P.S. what if he returns the card and he gets a huge one color swatch. or better yet what if they replace the card with some one who is not as marketable but just as good as dustin

Well they did. I pulled a A-ROD booklet Auto #Ed 1/3 and it is a big piece of plain jersey but says on the card a patch. Not only that but the recent Babe Ruth Stuff just says relics on it now and no longer says "Babe Ruth Game Used". Thanks Topps You suck and lost me as a customer
