    Cases on ITG cards

I just got an ITG stickwork in the mail today. Are there any ways to take those ITG cases off of the cards? Might sound kinda weird but I like the feel of cool stuff like this and patches. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that Brian Price puts those cases on so no one tries to fake.
I wouldn't try to take it off if I were you, because it will be harder to trade/sell your card.

Anyway, if he remove the card from his original ITG Case, nobody will be interested in that card IMO.

Yeah I know I'm not planning on it, I was just wondering if it was meant to be stuck like that, thanks!

A few reasons I thought up were,
    1. Proof of swatches, Just look at some of the swatches the cards include! It proves that they are real because how many patch forgers are skilled enough to open the case without damaging it and then seal it back up with no adhesives showing? Probably none.

    2. The value of some of the cards are in the 4-5 digit range, it protects them far beyond what even a one-touch could do.

These are what i though up, as far as taking them out, ONLY if your going to keep them for a very, very long time. Because then no one will have much interest. Maybe get a bid or 2 depending on the player.

    -Cheers

I had a beliveau auto/jersey card that had a damaged case on it, so i took the case off. Its suprising how easy they are to get off. Im not sure if it had been previously worked on, but it only took me about 5 mins to crack mine open. Use an exacto knife (thin packaging slicer) and go in the crease between the two pieces of plastic. Then as said about, use a little force with a thin flathead screwdriver and slowly wedge it between the pieces and use it as a lever to pry it open. Its pretty easy to do, ive only done it once and it took very little effort.

They Are possible to remove but like a few people have mentioned removing them does reduce the value to a lot of people, that said If its something you think you will have in your PC for years to come go for it, its your card you can keep in what you want

also I think I've heard a few times that ITG will re slab UM cards but i think it coasts 10 or 20 $
