Damn I miss Fleer
I don't know about you all, but I cracked open a binder of my 03/04 Fleer Authentix and realized how much I miss Fleer basketball. Will there ever be a resurrection of the brand?

Haha, j/k...but I don't miss fleer a bit, nor Upper deck....They make okay cards.
And I doubt Fleer will ever make cards again..Last edited by cbrjunkie888; 12-21-2010 at 03:28 PM.

We all have our favorites, I guess something about Fleer that I really enjoyed. I'm going to try the 2010 UD SPA, so far just not feeling any of the 2010 basketball releases.

fleer hasn't been fleer for several years. it was bought out by upper deck but they continued to produce the fleer line of cards up until 09/10. i personally liked upper deck products (SPA, SPX, Hot Prospects, etc). I'm so sick of sticker autos and low valued patch cards from panini. I have yet to see a profitable box of Panini, unless you pull a 1/1 logoman or something stupid. All the boxes are overpriced and 9 times out of 10, will leave you contemplating why you even bother buying packs/boxes of cards! and I don't like the fact that Panini is basically a monopoly now for Football & basketball! It's not fair. I may consider leaving the hobby unless Topps and/or Upper Deck get their heads out of their you-know-whats and figure out a way to get their licensing back. Boo Panini! BOO!

Upper Deck was horrible. People complain, lose their license and suddenly everyone wants them back. Topps was fairly good but the NBAPA decided to grant an exclusive to Panini as did the NFLPA. Hockey has its exclusive in UD. Baseball is fair game. Either way the whole hobby is jacked right now.
