I've got a few:
1) Trim the fat from my collection by getting rid of my unwanted cards.
2) Finish dismantling my Bogosian and Erik Johnson collections.
3) Pick up Jonathan Bernier ITG cards, which are most of what I'm missing in my PC.
Scott - Good luck with the doctorate.....I got invited to do one, and turned it down because I just don't want to spend my time doing yet another degree. And with all due respect, I'm not calling anyone Doctor unless they're an MD, DO or something similar. :)

Fair enough!
I found an online program that is going to fit my needs for the time being. I could not afford to leave my job. i probably will not start until the Summer. I'm tired of working for the man (not that working for the Man's Children will be much better!)

Seriously, I do wish you the best of luck......I know how hard it is to do a degree while you're working and raising kids. It's great that you have the drive to do something like that!

Mine:
1) Reach 100% with my Hjalmarsson PC (really won't be hard to do at all except for the 1/1, only need it, the OPC base, and the OPC retro)
2) Reach 250 trades on SCF
3) Finish my "project" which I am hoping to do shortly...won't say what it is, but it has to do with some high-end beauties
4) Finish my hockey room
5) Increase/Grow my appreciation for the hobby
6) Finish my Hjalmarsson PC displayLast edited by HammerHawks; 12-27-2010 at 05:27 PM.

I promised myself several things:
1. Don't get too involved with weak UD Inserts (UD doing a real poor job IMO), which means, don't bust too many packs. I haven't busted much UD since the 04-05 season.
2. Concentrate on cards that can always be moved, even if you don't like the player, or his antics on the ice.
3. Stay away from extremely high-end issues unless they are a bargain, and never break boxes of stuff that won't net back even a 1/3 of your money.
4. Stick with HOFers for the most part, as they are the only ones that pay off long term.
5. Do not collect cards of people that do not play Hockey. (ie) Donruss Fans of the Game? Lol. I've never been at risk at losing my Man Card, and am not about to start.

So far I've got everything from OPC and Score, and just need the UD Exclusives Spectrum, Donruss Die Cuts, and a Panini sticker to get to 100% - until more stuff comes out. I don't know how much more he'll be featured in this year, but it's nice to hope for more.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
