Ha, I laugh everytime I see one of those "cards". What a scam, not sure what's worse, the seller passing them off as legit or the fact that people actually buy them.

A kid had some of these at a card show and wanted to trade them for some of my vintage. Thankfully it seemed to sketchy so I declined. He later made a big trade with a walk in. He got a 64, 67, 68, Mantle, as well as another Mantle I cant remember for 5 of the NSA 1/1s and a couple Drew Storen autos. The guy said he was gambling on the NSA cards and guess what? He crapped out! The kid was a victim at 1st but he obviously got out of that jam. I dont think he knew that they were counterfit junk. A 10 year old kid made the trade of the century.....

For good reason. He obviously got ripped-off in a trade, then decided to bust open the the slab, and voila, glossy paper with a crap, taped-on piece of jersey bought from Big 5 sales or Biglots.

My favorite is the so called lawyer who writes as though he has a 5th grade education, busting out the "110%" cliche is a nice touch too. GOES WELL WITH THE ALL CAPS!!!!!
These are beyond a joke and really really hate that people are naive enough to keep buying them. I remember see one with a pairing of Lou Gehrig/Babe Ruth for $49 I think. Not only is the price absurd and should automatically raise red flags, but both swatches were pristine white as if they were brand new. Tell me where you can find a pristine white game used Yankees jersey from 1939 or before and I will be thoroughly impressed.

it's insane how much he has sold! How can ppl spend $39.99 on a "Card" like that? ITG cards don't even go for that much. WOW!Last edited by KangoBass; 12-28-2010 at 08:40 PM.
