    guess the value

    hi folks,

i have a card in my collection and want to get some input on what it is worth

    08-09 SPGU
    Eights (JSY) numbered 1 / 8
Gretzky, Howe, Lemieux, Messier / Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, Kovalchuk

i never really thought the card could leave me, so i never scouted ebay to find out at what prices similar cards go for.

it is likely that the card is going to be part of a trade (not a sale)

i mean it is "just" a JSY-card... no autographs, no patches
but some of the best and most sought after players that are out there and very limited with the slight premium of being #1

    any information is appreciated.

i think multi swatches are hard to give an value, since its to /8 its not listed in beckett. i would list it on ebay at low and see what happens or setup buy now/make offers.

Between 200 and 300. You might be able to hold out for 350-400 if the right buyer came along. Colours on the front are very nice. However, the two big current names of Crosby and Ovy are white and the other two are black and Russian. Nothing against them, they just don't get the same hobby love in the Hockey market.

    When this finishes:

It'll give you a nice comparison. and maybe I'll be totally off. I usually underestimate anyways.

Sick card! I would say around $350 on SCF if you find the right collector, or around $200 or $175 on the bay.

If you can find a collector interested, it should be around $200. People sometimes pay less for cards with multiple jerseys of different players. It seems like they prefer multiple jerseys of the same player. IDK why, but probably because more player-collectors are after the card. A Lemieux collector would probably prefer getting a Lemieux Quad Patch instead of getting a patch card with swatches of Lemieux and then 3 other players.
