    Troy Aikman

I know he sends out PP for free, but I came across an email address (his secretary) and I inquired about an autograph, she said it's $200 per item, football, jersey, and even cards, OR you can get a signed 8x10 for $25.. Has anyone bought the 8x10? Is it legit? It said in her instructions that to be patient for a couple weeks since Troy isn't in the office often. $25 is reasonable, I'm just seeing if anyone has gotten it, don't wanna buy no autopen 8x10 for $25..

I will bet you that the $25 photo is an autopen. Almost promise you that. Makes no sense to charge $200 for your item but $25 for their photo. Don't waste your money.

Kind of what I was thinking, then again I can't imagine an athlete selling phony sigs as "real" for profit.

It is, it says they have to charge due to an "enormous amount of requests".

Do you have a scan of the pic?

its def not a ap because the personalization and the auto match really well and it changes thickness throughout the letters.....its hard to see on this because i took it with my phone but you can see it in person easily

Thats his AP. The inscription is real, from Faye, but real. I have a few 8x10s from him throughout the years. One is B&W, two are color, and a different pose in color. All have the same signature. If you look close you will find dots in the signature.

It broke my heart too, but I have to put this out there so folks don't pay $25 for an AP. Honestly it's actually common sense. Why would he charge $200 for an item you provide w/ SASE; yet only charge $25 for an item he provides and ships.

*Also of note, don't bother trying his house. I got the same form letter w/ my jersey and check back. Troy deemed $100 is not sufficient even though it was made to his charity. He isn't charging to help any charity, he is requesting all checks be made in his name; therefore he is pocketing the money. Pretty sad considering how much $$$ he made/makes.

I figured, but wanted some insight from someone with experience with this situation. I think I lost a bit of respect for him after I found that the checks be made payable to him.. C'mon man, you really need that kind of money from your FANS? Anyways, thanks for the post, I won't bother with it.
