What should I expect to pay?

Since day one of being in the hobby, and then deja-vu day one when I got back into the hobby, I have always wanted to acquire a Michael Jordan auto'd card. I have been looking around, basically ebay, and trying to decide which ones I like best. Now, I won't, and can't, spend $1000 on a card. But I am looking for on-card, no sticker, in Bulls uni (really like a black uni) and the picture to be more than just his face, obviously. Any suggestions, and what price range will I be looking at? Gonna take some time to save the funds, but this is one goal I want to achieve. Thanks

A regular non sp, on card Bulls Uni MJ auto will probably run you anywhere from $300 - $400. Most likely at least $325. The tricky part might be him in a black uni because a lot of them that I've seen are mostly white or red.

And also I think a lot of the more modern products which fall in the $300-$400 range might be just his face. Your best bet might be going for one of the ultimate autos from 04/05, or 05/06. Good luck! Just keep checking ebay for Jordan autos and I'm sure you'll run into one that you like.

trends of jordan autos have gone in the past few months........personal example, my avatar, which i purchased in June of 09 i paid 350 for here on SCF....same card recently sold for 500 and 450.

plain and simple, on card jordan auto you use to be able to pick up for around 325-375 are costing you upwards of a hundred dollars more....people are figuring that that may not be seeing any jordan autos of him in a bulls uni for a while and it driving prices up

Wow Italy, you got your card at a great price even by that time's standards, especially with the condition that card's in. Here is a similar one to yours but the auto is totally off to the side hence the lower price: http://cgi.ebay.com/06-michael-jorda...item3a61f461d9

I think lately they've been steady especiall the more recent products auto. Especially some of the non -numbered or high numbered ones. Within the past month I've seen a 04-05 Ultimate Sigs MJ on ebay, (this one in fact http://cgi.ebay.com/MICHAEL-JORDAN-2...item3a61f3d34a) up for a while with no takers @ $325. (granted it's not in perfect condition, but it was still in fine shape)

Also check these out (nice clear sigs, on card still going around 325 - 375)

#/23! (granted there's a basically the same version that's #/ed out of 50 in that set)

So it's not impossible to get a nice on card auto for under $375 still. But The prices are probably going to slowly rise as the years go on. I think they're just lower right now because everyone is fawning over the "90's Jordan autos" and still hot on the exquisite patches.

This one is in black uniform, I'm not a fan but I was offered this for $420 dlvd

    - belongs to a user called Kecipir, not sure if he's on this site

You'll be looking to pay $320 upwards for any Jordan oncard auto. The cheaper ones are the likes of UD Premier, Ultimate etc, even though the box prices of those are quite high..! Autofocus (the plastic cards) tend to go cheaply as well

Thanks for the responses. Hairy, that would be a card that I would want. Gotta check out the links to the other posted still.

Since I'm looking to add another MJ auto. I considered whether I should take that premier /23 for a while however the card cannot be shipped to me before I left US so I finally decided not to take it.

For that UD Radiance, I made an offer higher than what it was sold and I got counter-offer for $450. Because his counter-offer is too high, I decide not to negotiate further. The seller sold the card lower than my offer? If I can get that card for $330 that would be nice.
