hey, i recently learned that leximo has tons of cup proof cards..

My probleme is that on the checklist there is no Eller dual shield..he only has 1 shield in Ultimate, and does this card mean that they do have a Dual Eller Shield?
And will use it as Replacement?
I really want it...any of you have an idea?
I also got another question:
-I never saw the Nash /Eller dual honorable numbers /61...but its on the checklist , whats up with that?
thanks lmk please

I remember there was about 10-15 cards from last years Limited Logos set that were featured on the uncut (now cut) sheets but were never produced or not released with the product. It remains to be seen if any pop up in the future as replacements. You can always try contacting Upper Deck and try and find out if the card was ever produced.

Well not sure if this answers your question... but one or two of Muellers shields are Exchange only and his 09-10 GNT with Rick nash is a exch and some more including his Ultimate debut thread auto patch /10.

They are most likely in packs as redemptions.

I haven't compared what I have to UD's checklist yet, but I have 20 more cards (198 total) vs. 178 from the Dual Auto Shields set checklist. Once I compare them, I can provide a list of the extra 20 if anyone is interested. There are two Gretzky ones, and only one Gretzky on the checklist, and as Maxim mentioned, Eller is another that isn't on the checklist but has a proof that was on the sheet. On most of them, as you can see from the one pictured in this post, they included their naming code on the card front. So with Eller, he would have been paired with someone whose last name started with a "P", since the code on his card is DS2-PE. I believe he would have been paired with David Perron, but the Perron card doesn't have a code on it, so I'm not sure.
They may be keeping them as replacements, but I'd think it's more likely that they couldn't (didn't want to?) acquire the actual Shields patches or autos of one or both players who would have been on the actual cards, but the proof sheets were printed already and they didn't want to change them. If the redemption cards are in packs, I think UD would still list the cards on the checklist, even if they had no intention of actually producing the card, just to make the product seem stronger overall. But given the fact that they don't have them on the checklist would lead me to believe they are never going to produce them.
I could be wrong, but they went through a similar situation with the 08-09 Exquisite Basketball product. They put out an Inscriptions sheet that had 3 different Kevin Durant cards on it. From what I've read, he was their spokesperson at the time, but they didn't pay him so he quit signing for them. All the Durant Inscriptions cards were redemptions that were never fulfilled because he never signed any of them. So the only versions released were the proof versions on the uncut sheets.
FYI, for some of the other sets I have, there are 7-12 cards on each sheet that aren't on the checklist. So it's not just the Shields set that has cards on the sheet that aren't on the checklist.

It just depends if Eller plans to return the thing anytime soon. I can't speak for UD, but it would seem if they eventually came in, they would send them out in lieu of what a guy actually redeemed. It would cause a stir with me if I got a sub for a player and then saw the card in circulation 2 years later. I'm not sure if UD sends these out WITH the shields in them? Seems like a huge waste if the players just aren't bringing them back. You could always buy a 'proof thingie' (I think everyone knows they are cut from redeemed sheets) and add an aftermarket shield and get it signed. It won't have the backing/COA like a real one, but would look neat.
