Have a Few Questions About Protective Cases?

Hey everyone, I am going to be ordering a bulk order of protective cases for my cards soon because I am running really low. I see there is different pt's along each side of the product but I need to know what fits what. So these are the cases I am looking to buy and if anyone would be able to tell me the pt's it would be great!


1. Toploaders that could fit a fairly thick card but not a patch(Example: MVP One on one Dual Jerseys)

2. Toploaders that fit patches.

3. Toploaders that fit regular sized cards such as base.

4. Snap Cases( magnetic ones) that fit cards such as common autos.

5. Snap Cases( magnetic ones) that fit patches.

6. Toploaders that fit your regular sized jerseys cards.

5. I have had to use anywhere from 95 - 135 for patches

1. 100pt - this is the standard for all Panini products so far and if you get one of those GU's with a nice bulging seam you'll need this size.
2. 130pt.
3. 35pt unless it's a premium product (i.e. Ultimate Collection or The Cup) in which case it will vary, usually up to 75pt.
4. 35pt. unless it's a premium product (i.e. Ultimate Collection or The Cup) in which case it will vary
5. 130pt. unless it's a really thick patch, in which case you'll need a 180pt.
6. 75pt. have fit all previous years for UD unless it's a busting out piece. Then you'll need the 100pt.

2 X 120 always need more of these

1 X 180

Then I have some or any width. Once a year I fill what is missing or close to miss.

I think it more to show off your big cards only more then anything. I see no reason other then this one to pay that much. What I do with my high end cards is penny sleeve, top loader and I will add a team bag to prevent dust and the card to possibly fall. Then I store them in close box.

Now back on magnetic, I remove all my card from the one who add them. Not storable with other cards in my box, I had to create my own custom box to put the graded card I can't remove from the case and hate it. I would rather see the card place in order in my box with the others cards from the same set.

So I do not see any reason to pay more, your card will not be better protected. More, some put piece of card boardin the case to prevent the card movement because the card oftem move within. So other then the fact it might impress other to see the card in such a nice case, I see no logical reason to pay much as your card will not be better protected then in a penny sleeve, top loader and team bag. For some, it's important. For me all I care is to protect the card. I actually use the one I bought and stop using to mail high end cards as that will definitly protect the card better in a mailing process and I am sure the trader will probably appreciate it even if just for the fact it add more protection in mailing. I never damage any card protected the way I do it. So if you like to look at the card for your best card, then it might be worth paying more. To me it's not important. So I see no reason to pay more.
