    Romlb

    Hey Guys,

I am sure that this has been asked before so I am sorry if I am repeating anything. I wanted to send out a few ROMLB for the first time to reliable signers I have scene on the sight. I was wondering what the average price of one was, if anyone knows of a website where they sell them for cheap, how much it usually costs to send one and how you go about packaging a ROMLB for mailout and return. Thanks for the help and it is much appreciated

Here is a copy of a post I did not too long ago. If you plan on sending out quite a few balls take SteakNchops recommendation and buy them in bulk, they will be cheaper.

    This is my method:

    Inside a #1 Bubble mailer
    1. LOR
    2. Blue Bic
    3. ROMLB (I wrap mine in a paper towel with hopes the person will return it wrapped so the signature will not smudge, I have seen people use ziplocs or sandwich bags as well.)
    4. #0 Bubble mailer SASE w/ $2.07 postage

#1 Bubble mailer postage is $2.24

Get your ROMLB online to save money, I've used this website before they are very reasonably priced.

    ROMLB $11.00
    Postage $4.31
    Bic $0.10
    #0 & #1 Bubble mailer $1.50
    Total: $16.91

You could probably lower this price a little bit based on where you buy your bubble mailers, for instance if you buy them in bulk you could get a lower price. I just buy mine at Wal-mart as I need them. They are worth the investment though, they look very nice signed and are a great addition to any collection.

As a side note not every player will sign a ROMLB for free (particularly HOF'ers) so you have to take into consideration players fee's.

    Good luck to you!!

    Thank you.

I started a HOF ROMLB collection recently and am completely consumed by it now. As the autos came back and I saw how nice they looked and just want to sent more and more out.

For any Sam's Club members, they sell #0, #1 and #2 bubble mailers in bulk for $6-7 for 25 mailers. Plus my local Wal-Mart has recently discounted there ROMLB's w/ cube to $11 per. It is not on the price tag but when you go scan them they are $11. I found this out when I went to Redsfest last month and went to buy a couple last minute ROMLB and they were only $11. Now everytime I go I scan them to see if they are still on sale and so far they are still on sale. I have bought at least half a dozen at $11 w/ cube.

    So far I've got:
    Duke Snider
    Bob Feller
    Bobby Doerr
    Marty Brennaman
    Joe Morgan
    Jim Bunning

    Out:
    Whitey Ford
    Ernie Banks @ signing
    Goose Gossage
    Monte Irvin

They already went up in price at my local Target. Raised the price right around a dollar apiece.
