And I honestly you can't say its respect from the NHL since he wasn't named in the first place, he was a sub for someone they deemed better.

I honestly don't see why he would be selected. Take him away from Montreal and their fanbase and he wouldn't get a whiff of all-star support. And like prime said, looks like it was just a substitution to the next rookie available

I didn't fully understand either, but based on the lsit from the NHL's All-Star Game page, Subban was added to the Rookie lineup since Skinner was upgraded to the actual All-Star team.

if you think so don't really see him being a "star" at all. Excellent defenseman yes but there are many other defensemen that will be stars over him
