    Just noticed something- I sent the SASE to Frank Howard with one stamp on it. He put another one on!

    Yeah, he added a forever stamp on my 9x12 folder too. I had enough postage on it but he still put it on. Hondo is a really nice guy.

    Hondo is also a little strange. I met him in person one time about 6 years ago and a guy came up with a whole notebook worth of his cards and asked him to sign. Looking reminiscent of Will Ferrell impersonating Harry Carey, he started scribbling his signature and almost signed the sleeves instead of the cards. Its not that he was being rude, its just that he was that "out there". I'm jealous of your success; I'm 0/2 with him. Ironically, I sent him "League Leaders" cards from the early 70s where he was featured on the cards with two other players. I'm guessing he does not like to sign those?

    He sent me a signed card that had a few other players on it, so guess he doesn't mind.
