    Crosby/Ovechkin over-rated?

Why is it that all you hear about these days is Crosby and Ovechkin? Yeah they are good player, but I don't believe they are the best players. There is no I in team! I get fed up with the teams that get all the spotlight, while other team with great players get nothing.

Overrated? Yes. Still the best in the league though, except for Datsyuk, he gets #1

Datsyuk, I agree. I think Crosby's on top because of the line he plays on. When you play with 4 other superstars of course your stats are going to be great.

That line he plays on is usually Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis. Malkin on the 2nd line in addition to a little bit of time sometimes double shifting with Sid.

I dont think they are overrated(although I still think Datysuk is the best player in the league), but I do think the league promotes them way too much. There are so many great players in the league that I wish they would focus more on them.

Ovechkin yes, Crosby no. He (Crosby) lives up to the rating. Altough I am happy to see the pens winning even without him :)

Kunitz and Dupuis are stars, plus half of his points are on the pp. Who usually plays defense for that line?

for the current times they play in they are good. But in terms of the greats they don't belong in those talks. You could argue with Sid considering all the hardware he's won at such a young age.

Ovi hasn't played with the same enthusiasm this year. He's not the same player when the team plays with more attention to defense and his supporting cast isn't lighting it up

Kunitz and Dupuis are stars ?? they put up decent #'s thanks to Crosby ...great players make other players better and those 2 are avg players without Crosby .
