Eric Gordon vs. Russell Westbrook
Ok, so I haven't really watched basketball much lately, so don't flame me for this question haha. I noticed a Russell Westbrook Exquisite sells for more than Eric Gordon's. Why is that? Is Westbrook a better player or do people collect him more? I see they have similar numbers, except for Westbrook averaging almost double the assists. Just curious to hear some opinions.

Westbrook is becoming a Superstar and Gordon is just a great young star player.

R-West is on a better team and is a better distributor. Gordon is a fine player, but he's mostly limited to shooting/scoring on a non-contending team whereas Russell can score and pass on a team that wins more games.

I differ in opinion, Westbrook is about even with Gordon. Problem with Clippers are they always get hurt or traded or just leave.
If Gordon, Bledsoe and Griffin are kept together along with their center whos name I cant think of and they can add a couple p[ieces they can contend.

Gordon is a great young player, but Russell Westbrook (along with rose) is helping to redefine the PG spot. Strong, explosive, and will dunk on your center. I love Westbrook.
Deron and cp3 are great, but it wouldn't be a massive shock if rose and Westbrook overtook them even by the 2012 olympics. Damn - insane PG talent right now.Last edited by Jef; 02-03-2011 at 11:41 PM.

BECAUSE WESTBROOK IS A POINT. His job is to distrubute!! He gets the ball every possession (most of the time). Two different positions.!
Russ is playing on a contending team and Gordon is not. Maybe Next year when everyone is healthy then watch out....

John Wall is having a very good rookie year. Been able to see him in person a few times and I'm glad the Wizards finally have another relevant player.
But, again, you have to look at current PG talent. It's not his fault, but will Wall ever be a Top 3 PG? I don't think he will. He is an electrifying player, but Rose and Westbrook have no ceiling, and guys like Paul/Williams/rondo aren't so old that they will one day "surrender" to Wall.
