Junior Crashes Pole Car

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has wrecked his pole-winning Daytona 500 car.

Earnhardt was pushing Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson in Wednesday's practice when the contact caused Johnson to bobble.

Whoever wins the 1st Duel tomorrow will inherit the pole for the 500. Unless Jr. wins the Duel...then whoever finishes 2nd in the Duel will take over the pole for the 500.
