    The Cup Uncut sheet

as some of you saw last night, I pulled an uncut sheet of the ARP's.

For those that have redemmed these in the past, how are these shipped?

I'm trying to determine if I should redeem or not

I'm not 100% sure. I know some of the uncut sheets in the past have been shipped already in a frame. Others (and I think the more recent ones) have been shipping in a 'poster tube' style package, rolled up.

BTW - Moved this to Hockey Card Talk :)

I've heard that this year they are been shipped in a 'poster tube'.

and that would make sense because of the of the number of "proofs" available on eBay

I've only seen them framed in the past, but it wouldn't surprise me if they are sent out in tubes from now on because of the "proofs". It's too bad if they are sent out in tubes now, because they looked so nice when when framed.

Are you saying that because since they aren't framed, people will cut them up rather than keep them framed? I have an old '84 baseball uncut sheet and mistakenly stored it in a tube, now its all wrinkly.

I'm saying that its easier to make the decision to cut the sheet as oppose to spending the extra money to get the sheet framed. If the sheet came framed, I would have a hard time believing someone would take the sheet out of the frame for the purposes of cutting it up.

And I'm not implying that everyone would.

A lot of the 08/09 Sheets were cut up last year and they came framed. I hope that they are sending them framed. If not they are not much of a Case/Semi Case Hit.

I have two from 08/09 Cup, they were both framed.

I absolutely love mine, but if they are not coming framed anymore, I do believe it make it even easier for them acquired to be cut up.

Maybe UD stopped framing them because so many were getting cut up?
