Yeah.

Simmonds is a nice piece, and definetly provides something the Oilers lack..... but I don't see how he could possibly be the center piece of a Hemsky trade.

For the record, I also don't see how it makes any sense for LA to deal Simmonds. He's exactly the kind of player you need more of, when the Playoffs role around.

Sure sounds like the Anaheim Ducks are at least considering upping the offer for Campoli. Ottawa needs a bidding war to drive up value. The Senators are very interested in winger Kyle Palmieri, but the Ducks have been reluctant to consider.

Did the Ducks get Konopka? I read that on another site.... traded a 2nd Round pick for him, but I don't see it as being reported anywhere.

The downfall on Hemsky in my opinion is he's always got injuries. He's never played a full NHL season in his career (81 games was his high back in 2005-06), he's getting older so the injuries are only going to come more often. Yes when he's in the lineup he's a point per game player (or close to it) but I mean that's WHEN he's playing.
