Wow, just wow! This is comparable to when Vince McMahon and the WWE bought out WCW. I'd love to see some possible cross-promotion fights in the future between the two company as one now.

They will break up strikeforce the same they did with the other 5 brands they have bought.
IDK what they or anyone says they will merg and fast.
Fedor.... guess we wont see him fight again now....
Dan Henderson... guess we will never see him fight again....
Nick Diaz.... guess we wont see him fight again.....
Paul Dayly... LMAO guess we will never see him fight again....
Sucks that this happened, this is not a good thing. Now we only get to see the UFC brand of MMA.
Nothing new or different.

Guys like Diaz and Daley draw Fans esp. fighting each other. So it's not like Dana will sacrifice that for his pride. There still great fighters no matter what problems they've caused before.

Think you are wrong there. Dana will let anyone go he does not like.
Its the UFC's way or the high way now.
I know we all love Dana but have you ever stood back and really looked at his track record as a boss. Dude does not bend to the fans or the fighters, it his way and his way only. Which was great when we could go watch another brand to see the fighters that have been cut by the UFC. Wow where do they go?
If your not in the UFC now your not in MMA. No one will see you.

The way i understand it, strikeforce is the same just own bu zuffa. Its going to run like wec did before the merger. Fedor is not signed with strikeforce so he will never fight for zuffa. Fedor is signed with showtime.

did you watch the interview? dont get me wrong im not saying everything dana white says is true, but strikeforce is still strikeforce and its still ran by scott coker. They didnt buy out strikeforce and can everyone associated with. In my opinion I think it will stick around and be more or less a minor league UFC. When a fighter gets canned from the UFC, Strikeforce can still pick them up and in reality its still all under one roof.
Heres the full interview with Ariel Helwani if anyone hasnt seen it.

Thats what i was trying to explain. I mean Diaz while not liked by many is still a Champion in Strikeforce so not like Dana can say i don't care what you are your out of MMA. Dana realizes Strikeforce was doing ok and as long as their gonna make money i don't see them changing everything. It's just a matter of cornering the market on MMA. That could have very well been part of the deal. We will sell it to you but, it stays the same and we stay in our pos. for prob. a certain amount of time. Like i said i see things changing when the contract comes up from Showtime.
