Received damaged /10
Just got this Colby Armstrong Spectrum in the mail today. I'd send it back but it's only /10. Trying to put a spectrum Leafs set together.
Should I send it back? Keep it and ask for part of the payment back? How much? What would you do?
Sent an email but he hasn't responded yet...

sorry to see that on a short print pc card but if it were me I would send it back and ask for at least a partial refund. Im sure the other 9 will pop up at some point and in better condition to boot. Good luck!

Ouch. That looks like bad packaging that caused the damage. It's a tough spot since you never know if you'll see another copy show up, but that's just bad.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

i would keep it and ask 50% of what you paid, if not, then get a full refund

Yeah thats probably how I will deal with it. Keep this one at a discount and if/when another shows up, grab it.
If he doesn't accomodate. you'll find out who it is.

this happened to me a while back with a Callahan pc card (which was a huge steal), his artifacts RC /25. here is a picture-

see the damage on the top, i bot this card for $4 or some awesome price like that, but in the sellers scan he didn't show the top part of the scan, and didn't say anything about the damage in the description. since i bot it for so cheap and it was such a rare card i decided to not worry about it and not try to go after a refund.
However it does look like the damage is far worse with your armstrong, and i think it would be worth asking him about, i'm sure if you send him a scan of the card he will see its worth a partial refund.

With this card, I don't think thats picky, I'd think the card would grade a 4 with that damage.

That's not OK. Try to get a replacement or a refund. A /10 can't be that damaged (if damaged at all).
