Grabner Serious Consideration For Rookie Of The Year

Now has 30 goals and I believe is eligible as he only played 20 games last year.

I think he's now almost at the pole position, at very least, he must be given equal consideration with Skinner, Bobs, and the rest.

...not just the Canucks....still think they will give it skinner. IMO Grabner definitely deserves it.

They said he had a few years in the system to make a case for himself and never did.

How you expect a guy to make a case with almost no ice time in the bigs is beyond me, but hey. I'm glad he's found a place to flourish.

I'm thinking the 3 nominees will be Skinner, Couture, and Grabner. Bobrovsky, Hall, Eberle, Subban, Reimer, etc. won't even get a look. Very strong year for ROY!

And didn't Florida give up on Grabner also?

Grabner on the right with Tavares at centre and Okposo on the left wing. Have a good time with that next season Atlantic Division.

Oh and if you manage to avoid that, you have Bailey, Moulson and Martin on line two. Frans Nielsen is hanging around somewhere too.

Now we have Hamonic back on D with Andy McDonald and Al Montoya in net for a full season. Going to make some noise next year!

Grabner should be rookie of the year, he has been the guy defenses have been keyed on for 1/2 the season now and he's still producing.

Isles are quickly gaining confidence with each win and especially each shootout win.

DiPietro has been a bust, but last night he stopped the shootout, then went bonkers when the Isles won it. Nice to see some enthusiasm back in their club.

Good-luck to them and their young team.

all that and you still haven't mentioned Streit quarterbacking their PP and leading the D.
