Trouble getting good tickets?
So I have been looking for tickets to Minnesota Twins games for this upcoming season. Unfortunately I am having a hard time finding good seasts at a reasonable price. I personally, will only sit in the LL because I try to graph before the games. I also prefer to not buy tickets through the teams that I am buying for, because of all the services charges and BS that they add on to your order.
I used to buy off ebay for usually pretty good prices for all sporting events, but recently its been buisnesses and companies taking over on there and they only seem to have upper level seats. I've been looking on craigslist and there are a lot more people with lower level tickets, but they are selling them for 5 times face value at the least. I am a strong believer in never paying over face value for tickets of any assort, so those are out of the question.
It's not just the Twins though (Twins tix are probably still spendy because Target Field is still considered new), I have also seen (online) ticket price hikes for the Wild, vikings, and Swarm (Pro Lacross team).
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening in their area/to their local teams too? and if anyone knows of a good, reliable, site with LL tickets that are sold for or below or for face value?
Thanks!

stubhub, craigslist it just depends who's selling them. Trying at the last possible minute worked for me in the past but it was games against bad teams so people listed good seats for $10-15.

I totally agree on using the criagslist method...Ive gotten 3 1st row tickets this ST at the red sox all under 25 by waiting til the night or the morning of....people get desperate at the last minute and rather make somthing than nothing IMO.

I noticed that too! I am looking to go to a White Sox game, but I couldn't believe the price of tickets there. My home stadium is Detroit and we go to about 3-5 games a year. To sit in rightfield you can get very nice seats for about $15, but for the same seats in Chicago you are talking like $40.

Thanks for the tips guys.
Jyosi- I know what you mean. the Timberwolves are the only team in MN where I can get two LL tix for $6. haha That is for about every game except the Celtics, Heat, and Lakers. The face value of those tix is usually between $40-$50.

I use StubHub for just about everything now...found my tickets to the Cavs/Thunder game for $4.25 a piece on tickets with $37 face value. Best place for either hard-to-find tickets or a great price on them...
