Mission Impossible: The 09-10 Cup set 1-180 -=- Need your input
not counting base, and once all of the outstanding deals I have made arrival, I'm down to the following (not including JVR and JT)
92 Anton Khudobin 199 Wild
95 James Reimer 199 Maple Leafs
98 Braden Holtby 199 Capitals
101 Mathieu Carle 199 Canadiens
102 Mark Letestu 199 Penguins
104 Mathieu Perreault 199 Capitals
114 Lars Eller 249 Blues
116 Logan Couture 249 Sharks
128 Colin Wilson 249 Predators
136 Michal Neuvirth 249 Capitals
142 Artem Anisimov 249 Rangers
145 Yannick Weber 249 Canadiens
172 Tyler Ennis 249 Sabres
176 Devan Dubnyk 249 Oilers
The Ennis I can probably find in the Buffalo area (might pay an arm and a leg for it though) but a couple of these are going to set me back some $$
Now I'm faced with the decision. Do I put this aside until the summer when the eBay market on Hockey is generally soft or not?
Also, I have a couple of Patches that are just filthy with this set
Samples of what I mean

However, if you could find a piece like this Macias to possibly replace the current one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT would you? Especially if you think that you could come out ahead?
Now, because I know someone is going to ask this question; I don't have any plans of selling it off if I complete this but I can't say never. Life always takes precedent.

If I thought I could come out ahead, upgrading a patch is never a bad thing.
I think it all depends on what you're gonna do if you put this on the back burner for a few months.
Will you focus on another set/pc? Focus on life?
The WORST thing about planning on something in a hobby is that you quite often don't end up following through :P

Which is the reason why I would look to "upgrade". The Macias I got tonight is a 3clr, but it's a cooler piece than the 4 color, IMO.
I will not focus on another set, I have too much ongoing with SCF and my real job at this point. I have done that in the past where I have too many focuses.
And honestly, I love the quote in Bolded. While this is true for I would say a majority of us (myself included) a hobby is just that, a hobby and priorities need to take over.

I would absolutely wait on most of them, especially the Reimer. Like most Leaf goalies, he will tank at some point and his rookies will drop faster then Paris Hilton's, well, you know. The Couture and Ennis are really the only ones I might go after hard now as they have the most potential to skyrocket in the next year or two. Good luck with the rest.

I would say wait til offseason on Couture at least, or wait til the Sharks are out of the playoffs if they ever go down...in summer you'll need to be careful of him with the calder race I think though.

No worries :) I just looked through what I had for the Cup and noticed I had two more you were looking for so I just wanted to let you know. I can get a picture of the three for you if you want?
