Question geared towards Heros and Prospects
'allo
I had a question...and I THINK its more geared towards heros and prospects...i went to high school with a guy that is a goalie in the OHL..

Johnny Cullen is his name...im used to be pretty good friends with him (sat next to him in french class lol) and i was wondering when prospects get hockey cards made...i really think it would be cool to have some cards of him...but idk when cards would be made for him....im not sure if hes NHL bound, his stats aren't breathtaking but I thought maybe he was worth a reference in a product like H&P where clearly not all of the "prospects" make it into the NHLPlease check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

Wow never knew there was a Hamburg native on the Spits! Really cool to see local guys making it :)
They usually make cards of prospects like that within a year or so of them entering the draft. My guess is he might get cards within the next year or two if it does happen and I think you're right. If he gets cards, H&P would be the place to look.

If he's a goalie he would have a better chance of being in Between the Pipes than H&P in my opinion.

I actually played hockey with Johnny when he played his juniors here in Rochester before he left for the OHL, he has a great personality, small world
Would love to see him in something, it would be a longshot though, I believe hes on his last year in the OHL, he also went undrafted in his draft, but still would be great to see him make it big

He might have a team issued car already.
I see that his team is in the same league as the Kinston Frontenacs and I know that they have a team set. It was release in Feb or Mar or someting after the trading deadline for that level of hockey.
To get it, I had to go to their souvenir shop of the team when it was open (game nights) and the team set cost me 10$.
Here was their 09-10 launch news link:
http://www.sarniasting.com/article/0...-wallis-nissan
"The hockey cards will now be on sale at all Sting home games at the Sting Sports kiosk located behind section 102. The cards will also be on sale at the RBC Centre Box Office."
Check it out, as I'm sure that they have a 10-11 set. You may want to go sooner rather than later though, because over the summer they are sold out (or at least they were in Kingston).
Cheers,
reoddai
