Panini Redemption Process ?'s
I've got a Larry Bird Auto and a Kobe Bryant Auto that I have been waiting on for a year now.
I have already opted for a replacement card on the Bird, and about 3 months ago they told me I'd get a new card in 4-6 weeks. We are way beyond that now and now I can't even get them to respond to my request for a status update through their site.
Have you guys had similar issues? Anyone have any advice? I think this is ridiculous for them to just ignore a paying customers messages. All my cards available for trade are on Instagram @2CardShakur
Thanks!

To answer your question, YES, Panini customer service has gone from great to crap. I have the same story, on January 11th Panini sent me a PM through their web site that they would replace three old redemptions for me and the cards would arrive within two weeks
Two months later and I am still waiting. I have sent them multiple PM's through their site, nothing. I have called their customer service number and left 10 voice mails over the past six weeks and again NOTHING!
They moved from Arlington to Irving, so I thought okay that was the problem but now I don't think the move is the issue, it just seems like know they no longer have to care about the buyers of their product. They know they have the market for NBA cards cornered so why care? If you want NBA cards you have to buy from them.
Since March 11th when you call you still NEVER get anyone to answer the phone and the stupid voice mail message you get is "leave a message and we will return you call in 24 hours." Well I left three voice mails since March 11th and they have yet to call me back. More lies from Panini.
Tracy Hackler posted an Absolute video break on this board saying how great a product that was so I posted a question about what happened to their customer service, and surprise he didn't respond as well.
Good luck, but at present it seems hopeless. When Ann Powell owned Donruss, their customer service was awesome. Just goes to show you when a big business buys a company, some changes they make are not for the better.
For me, I simply decided to not buy anymore Panini products until I get my redemptions worked out. Will that matter to them? No, but if more collector do the same, someday the lack of sales might make them pay attention, but it takes more than one.
Good luck on getting your problem solved!

I decided to do the exact same thing, I told my LCS owner and he thinks I'm joking lol. Just a few months ago, I couldn't be anymore pleased with their CS. I called, they answered, I sent in damaged cards, 2 weeks later got em back, and most of my redemptions were filled in a decent time frame. My biggest problem is that they are not answering emails. I use to get responses within a day, now I don't EVER hear from them. Oh yea and the 3 redemptions I got in 1 single box on this years NT, was the straw that broke the camel's back for me!

I have three redemptions in right now and 1 of them is for a Rodman auto that I really hope I get. Honestly I am a bigger college basketball fan than I am of NBA so if I have to go exclusively to Upper Deck products because of the newly found lack of CS on Panini's part I wouldnt mind getting cards of NBA stars in there college uni's.

I didn't hear anything back from them for a very long time after leaving more than 10 messages. One of my redemptions was submitted 4 months ago and it is the card they already have in hand 5-6 months and I still get nothing.

Similar situations for me. I have two redemptions i've been waiting for for nearly 6 months now (Elgin Baylor and Mark Price). After the 4 month waiting period i called panini and asked for replacements for both cards. "Ya, they'll be shipped in in no more than 2 weeks." It's now been 2 and a half months and now they don't answer their phones anymore. I didn't even bother leaving voicemails after reading some people's posts here on the forum.
I no longer buy much Panini products (packs/boxes). I'll still buy their Bulls singles but have just gone back to busting older topps and ud (the older rookie crops were way better anyways)

I think they are going thru what Upper Deck and Topps went thru eventually. Too many people trying to take advantage of every little thing wrong and asking for a freebie.

WTH? they didn't answer my messages at all.
Will never buy a redemption code from someone else again. (Almost buy more for Boozer Auto)
I will try to stay away from their products too. (Absolute patch is nice but I still hate low-quality looking sticker auto.) Thinking about buying NT this year but with their outstanding customer service, I will reconsider again.
