For Taylor, I'm going with the ever-useful 1990 Pro Set Super Bowl Supermen card, ha. I know I have multiples of this card, but I can't seem to find the others. I'll let you know if I stumble upon my extras...

I had a feeling about those Keons too, haha. Makes for a cool story!

actually, I just bought one of the superman cards off sportlots. some reason over there when i searched Jim Taylor, only a few options came up & to much $$$ for me, but evidently on sportlots, he's listed under James Taylor. Lots of good priced cards.

Glad you found one...are you sending a fee to him? I was planning on sending $15...

yup.. not sure how much yet. might try $5 first & a letter but im not sure. I dont see a lot of successes from him though. Is he one of those guys that has a set fee of $15 or $20 bucks & sticks to it?

Unless he's feeling really nice you'll get a price list. He'll probably be insulted by anything less than $15, since he sometimes asks for $50-$150. The norm people seem to send is $20, some people graciously send him $50 for just a card--not sure why anyone would do that though.

wow really.. hmmm i kinda always thought $5 for a card was pretty gracious. I mean its just a base card that with the auto more than likely makes the card worth LESS, but what do i know.. Might wait on him then. I dont want to send him $5 & get a price list back asking for $45 more. thats kind of a bummer.

Got 4 more today!!! All Hockey & all HOFers!!

First, Bob Pulford 1/1, out 3-15, back 3-29. Very cool success.. Really like the Blue sig on the card. Looks nice..

Next, Red Kelly. 2/2, out 3-21, back 3-29. This one went to our Friends up north. Sent along $2.00 for return postage & My Kelly was good enough to cover the return postage for me. Great Guy. This is the 2nd time i have done this, The first being Guy Lefleur & both have been very quik successes. Couldnt be happier with these..

Next, Milt Schmidt 2/2, out 3-21, back 3-29 $5 fee. This was my 2nd attempt with Mr Schmidt. First time got the " i dont sign for free because people sell my stuff on Ebay " letter which is fine. He even wrapped up my cards in some paper to help protect them. Great signer!!

& Last, Fern Flaman 1/1, out 3-21 back 3-29 $5 fee. Another great signer. Mr Flaman also took the time to wrap up my card in paper & send back to help protect it but, he didnt let the Sharpie dry enough & part of the HOF inscription smeared & rubbed off but still stoked! Very happy.

I officially DONT want March to end. been a great month for me.. If it wasnt for the Hack off Friday, on the Jim Rome show, probably be dreading April 1st.

Are you guys talking about the Packer's RB Jim Taylor? If you are, I have sent to him like 3 times in the past year without a fee. I have always included a short but nice letter and an extra of the custom(s) I ask him to sign. He has always signed and I have never received any kind of price list...

I sent him $15 and a (longer than usual) letter talking about how big of a Packers fan I am and how much respect I have for him...the worst that can happen is he keeps everything. I still need him for my Packers collection, so its worth the risk to me. I'll let you know!

At least you had another awesome day today! I'm hoping for some days like this soon...been pumping the requests out lately.

Wow, really? SCN tells a different story. I'll try with $5 maybe and a nice letter.
