Honestly I'd rather his real rc in that condition, it's unique and cool but imo nowhere near the asking value.
Collecting:Leafs Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Conacher, Horner, Broda, Bower, Clark, Gilmour and others.

I agree that it definitely is not worth that much, and I can also see your other point as well.

it's cool, but... since it was the plate used to print the rookies back in the day... it is worth way more than his real rookie...
50k? no
I say it's worth around 25-30k
not 50 lol

I doubt it's even worth that much... The guy also has it listed for 35-40k as an auction, unless there are two - 'Only Yellow Proof Known'.

There are a couple sellers with proofs directly from the Topps Vault. I've never seen one sell since I discovered the listings several months ago...

I'm thinking it would probably hit around 8-11k but you never know when you combine a player like Orr with something that rare. I do think the value would be less since the cup has done plates to death even though that's way before the era, I still believe it's done a ripple effect of damage to values of plates.

It's not a printing plate whatsoever. It's just a proof card printed to test one color of ink. There's 4 colors for each and the Topps Vault likely has several of these sets still stashed away as they have complete inventories of these sort of things that they auction off periodically. This is not worth anywhere near the asking price and is realistically less valuable than a nice Orr RC.
