Etiquette?
Not too sure how to approach this....
I cut a deal with a guy on here to buy a card he had posted on the for sale group.....We agreed on a price....He had it posted on Ebay and the Ebay bid got higher than my offer, so he cancelled our transaction....I voiced my opinion that if he made a deal with me, then it should be with me and not the guy on Ebay.....He cancelled the deal on Ebay.....He send me a trade on here and cancelled it right away and has been ignoring me ever since...
Again... Not too sure how to approach this.
Does this happen a lot here??

Hey Jeff,
Since it was posted in the manager, he is required to send.
(Infraction System in the Rules)
5 points - Failure to send your end aka backing out on a confirmed sale/trade in the Trade Manager.
(Once a trade is confirmed, it is a binding deal between both parties.)

I hate when people have cards listed on ebay and shop them around elsewhere... I see it at shows mainly. I get the desire to do so but it just doesn't make sense to me considering that fact that someone can instantly buy it if it's listed on ebay. Odds are slim that someone would buy it at the same time you are selling or dealing it to another buyer at a show or on a trader site, but it's not worth the hassle especially when you are obligated to send to both parties. Seems like if he knew you wanted a card he had listed on ebay he should have had you deal with him through ebay to keep this from happening.
When he struck the deal with you he should have ended the item on ebay before he created and/or confirmed a deal with you in the trade manager. Not great thinking on his part. Also not very great thinking to accept an offer on ebay after he accepted yours.

That is wrong and should be reported. But as stated before, if it was posted on the Trade Manager he has to send you the card. Especially, if he cancelled it without consulting with you first.

i looked in your trade manager and the only trade in there was rejected. unfortunatly there is nothing that can be done about it if he rejected it rather then confirmed it. its a real jerk move on his part but unfortunatly nothing can really be done because he never confirmed it.
this doesnt happen alot here. this is probably the best trading site right now. its the biggest so there are members here and there that do things like that but ive been here for awhile and done 140-150 trades with very few problems
