    Arrow Stick Rack Help

    Hey guys

I guess I should post this in the memorabillia forum, but thought I'd get a better response with, since theres obviously more hockey fans here :)

I was wondering where can you buy a stick rack, in Vancouver? I buy a game used stick, and then just throw it in my closet. I wanted to put them on a stick rack, so it doesn't fall down as much and so it doesn't get tossed around as much.

Any places in Vancouver where I can find one?

I was thinking about buying one through the internet, but shipping will be as much as the stick rack!

    I appreciate any help

    Cheers,
    Andrew

    Andrew:

Contact the guys at the Hockey News, they can probably find you a cool old one from the 60's. Those guys have the inside line on specialty items that are always floating around Canada.

It's worth shot, they are a wealth of knowledge in the more urbane of things regarding Hockey.

heres what i did.... I took 2 eyebolts and screwed them in the wall. Then i took 2 hair ties and put them through the eyebolt and slide the stick through them. Cheap and easy way to hang a stick

Thanks guys for the tips :)

Thats awesome Craig! Raymond stick is super cool! I might try to pick one up this year ;)

But yes, I do want a stick rack that'll hold 20-30 sticks. I'll try to phone The Hockey News tomorrow, to see if they have any racks, or I might try to phone my sporting good store.

    Thanks again, for the advice,

    Cheers,
    Andrew

The Hockey news won't have stick racks. Lol ...... But they will perhaps steer you in the right direction in finding one.

Make sure you talk to a knowledgeable person and not somebody that runs the switchboard.

Poor Ottawa - Stanley Cup Finalists? it says on that stick rack. How embarrassing to display something with that on it. Lol.

I think I'd do the team's incorporation date instead of claiming that I'd lost a cup.

That is pretty awesome.... oh how I hate not living in the same city as my team :( and not being able to attend the end of season sale!

Have fun with the stick collection Andrew!
