Hank Aaron Auto Picture Question
Hey guys/gals, my grandfather passed away not too long ago. When going through his basement with my family I found this picture of Hank Aaron that has an autograph on it. Upon looking at it, it is clearly signed, not an autopen or anything like that. Unfortunately, Im bigger into football and not too educated on baseball stuff. I was thinking of sending it to get it authenticated but figured Id run it by you folks first to see if it even looks like its worth sending it in.
Any insight would be great and thanks a bunch for your time.

I can try to get better pictures if anyone needs.
Thanks again!
Tim

Go on google search under hank aaron autographs and it will show you what his autographs look like,if it was authentic it would be worth the fees to prove it.

Thanks Steve! Ill give google a look. I was thinking the same thing. If I thought it was legit I wouldnt even give it a second though to sending it to get authenticated, I am just super skeptical about everything...
Thanks again!

Greetings:
I would have to say I agree with Spuds on this and if you do get it authenticated and its legit be sure to visit G-Pa tombstone say a lil prayer and thank him for unearthing this nice collectable for your collection."Any ballplayer that doesn't sign Autographs for little kids Ain't an American. He is a Communist"-Rogers Hornsby on Signing an Autograph as a Manager in 1942 with the St. Louis Browns.

Thanks for the comments guys! Im almost leaning towards just going ahead and sending it to PSA for authentication, heck, whats it going to hurt.
Does anyone know off the top of their head about how much it costs to authenticate a piece like this?
Thanks!

Be sure to try and compare it to an older signed item. People's signatures change over the years, especially athletes who have to sign their names millions of times. If you look at Dave Winfield's auto's from the 2011 products and compare them even to autos from 2 years ago, there's a noticeable difference in the W. So don''t attempt to compare it against something that was signed in the last few years.

Yea, Im trying to compare it to a variety of stuff I can find pictures of, Im also trying to make sure that they are autos that are already authenticated of certified by legit companies too.
Ive seen one that looks pretty close and is certified by Steiner sports. They are pretty legit, correct? I thought they were but I may be wrong...
