    Question on uncirculated cards

I haven't bought a pack of cards in years, I simply buy lots from ebay and here. In some of these lots i get these uncirculated cards that are encased in their own plastic holders (Typically Bowman or Topps Pristine) that are usually serial numbered and/or GU or autographed. My question is how were these acquired as I assume these were not inserted in normal card store/wal mart type wax/mylar wrapped packs. Thanks!

they were inserted in hobby boxes, mainly in Topps Pristine, chrome, and finest.
Im not exactly sure, but it was usually one-three per hobby box, they were made in varying serial numbers, from common to rare.

if I remember correctly, pristine had them one per mini box and in its own pack, not to sure about the others, but im pretty sure they are all in a pack, so you cant see who/what it is.
