he's managing a minor league or independent league team I read, anyone wanna give him a shot?

I tried him TTM last year when he signed with a minor league team, but never got a return. This year he is both managing and playing, and Ozzie Canseco is also on the team playing. I'm hoping to catch them when they come to my area against my local team, I really would like to knock him off my 1987 Topps list!

No, the Yuma (Arizona) team is not in the Atlantic League. It would have been nice.
Canseco is doing a show here on LI this weekend. Do you think he is worth $30?

Back in the day (as in when Canseco was a Bash Bro.) my dad went to a show where Jose was signing. A kid was standing with his dad. The dad was getting his item signed. The little kid (was no more than 6) held up a card and shyly stumbled through a "Mr.Canseco, can you please...?"

Canseco smiled at the kid and said, "Sure thing. Oh, wait didn't pay did you? Then no." My dad was right behind them...got disgusted, stepped out of line, and left. He hated him ever since.

Sure, that was probably over 20 years ago, but I still can't imagine the guy responding to fanmail or walking down the 1st or 3rd baseline signing now...

I would have to stop by GNC in order to get something for him to sign! Personally I think a copy of the Mitchell report or a supliment bottle would be the only two things signed by him that I would want in my collection. I did hear that he and his brother tried to do a switch on an MMA event not too long ago and they realized it was OZZie not Jose by the tattoos! It is horrible that they are still looking for ways to cheat the public and any sport they are involved in! Why would any baseball organization want to be involved with these guys? I just can not understand it! I will at least give Jose credit about being honest about the PEDs in baseball. That is of course to make money by releasing a book about it but hey he was honest once.
