    Very upset with Beckett!!!

I bought the new magazine today... new pricing was Crown Royale and Upper Deck Series 2

    10 bucks...

crown royale listing had it all in there...

    besides my favorite set

    Coat of Arms!!!

no pricing in there for it...

anyone else have this problem? I'm sure they are all the same!

I know I am getting ripped off but going by the online beckett prices is likely better than the magazine right now. Its updated faster and seems to have more listed. I don't buy the magazine anymore, but the site is overpriced right now. I think its around $9 for one month of all hockey prices, to see other sports you have to pay more...

ahh your right I was thinking per month no subscription its around $9.

Their search engine is just awful. Give me a month with their database and their base code and I bet I could do 10 times the job. Right now its painful to use. I like having it at my disposal on my laptop or ipad though. I work with them all day so its nice in that way.

Waiting for mine in the mail but I know what you mean about their pricing, very scarce in the Panini field with all of the parallels and redemptions. Still like having one around to look at...call me a sucker if you will but I'm content. With enough complaints they'll come around.

Could Beckett be competed with though?

the twins are on the front...

they left out pics of the cards above the titles in the listings for most years...

no subset in the crown royale for coat of arms... and the semistar/goalies/ unlisted stars black box at the end of magazine is still gone...

The problem is the volume, I could easily make a better price guide by looking at independent sites, ebay.... but try that times a few thousand sets and it just gets overwhelming. It's no wonder they lag so bad, think about how many people it would take to keep that number of cards up to date. Not to mention wanting to shoot yourself every 10 min.
