    BGS or no?

So most of my collection is pretty low end, don't get to spend the big money on hobby boxes, but I have one very high end RC auto. Was trying to figure out if its worth trying to send it in for BGS grading. I'm not worried about the score, card is in great condition, but worried about sending it in through the mail, worried that something may happen to it. Just wanted advice on if its worth it and the best way to make sure nothing happens to it.

    Thanks

that's always been the case for me as well....if it's a must to have something graded i'd wait for a big card show in your area (if there is one) since beckett usually attends those and grades on the spot......they still ship them out to be slabbed but you at least know it's already in their hands

Exactly how i did it. Ive always worried about shipping the cards, but when BGS Grading is onsite at a card show you're handing them directly to the rep.

Thanks for the great advice guys. I was leaning in that direction. Seems like sending ok when its not a crazy valuable card, but this is something that could be $1000+ so don't want to take chances. When its comes to that kind of value do you think its worth grading?

if it's something you're planning on selling and you know it will give you substantial profits then go for it....if you're planning on keeping the card for your pc i wouldn't even bother........what you thinking about grading???

Its something I plan on keeping for a long time. Not selling it anytime soon. But would it still be good to grade it to protect it better? Just a auto of someone you can probably guess from my name on here, lol.

I believe BGS also has a slab service , they will put it in the protective slab ( same slabs they use for grading) with a lable on whats it is but will not grade it, i have seen collector do this beofre just for the added protection.
