Looks like a great product, anyhow price point seems to be a little bit too high IMO.
6 cards, including 5 bases and one very high end AU/GU/Paper Cut. You need pull atleast T-Rex.

I would say the price is the deathblow to this product, not even Gretzky would save it. I'm extremely divided in my feelings for this.
Positive first: the design (did you read my pm after all Brian? Looks like a woman had a touch on it : ). LOVE the basecards and the autos!
Positive: the idea of an ultra highend HOFers only product (even if some huge names are missing).

Negative: it's not as ultra highend as the price suggests. 5 basecards and one hit? Even if that hit is max 9 cards. Basecards numbered to 175 isn't that special, though I'm glad they're not limited to it gives at least 175 people to finish it. For the same, or lower, price I can get a box of ITG Ultimate with 5 basecards way more limited, 5 autos and 5 gameused, with low numbering. In Enshrined, you get 25 basecards and get 5 hits (autos or gameused). Well, it's not about quantity, so I sure hope the quality is so out-of-earth awesome its worth it. Cause it needs to be better than the Cup.

I still say nobody in his right mind buys boxes to make money, nobody. It's 7-8 years ago you could even dream of on average to get your box money back. Anyone who does that must be a gambler, and I'd say you have a gambling problem then. It's like buying lottery tickets and assume you win big. Gamblers do exist, plenty of them sadly, but many of us aren't.

I just want quality from a product, you can't just use "it's for collectors" argument and put a random pricetag on it, you can just as well put $1000 on it too then. With a pricetag, there comes an obligation, like with any product in society. The more I pay, the better quality I want. Personally I would actually love to have a box of this, the minute I saw the sellsheet I fell in love with the design and cards! BUT, $600 is really really expensive and I wonder if its justified. I guess this is an ultra luxury product for the richest, but still... it's doubtful I can afford this, and its a shame, guess I know if it's worth if/when I hold it in my hands. Still very excited for an entire new brand and product though!

Such incredible looking cards. I never get tired of going to the Hockey Hall of Fame when in Toronto. This product brings the Hockey Hall of Fame to me.

As I mentioned Steve I ordered mine and far cheaper than 600 as Linda is talking. It should be fun to open a few boxes.

    Jason,
Will holler at you when they arrive I am looking forward to seeing how this product unfolds when folks start to break it. Always nice to see the gems that pop out.

I've changed my opinion after talking to Brian in an interview so nevermind my words above. Now I'm eager to know exactly when its released though : )

So how much is it going to be per pack? $100 for 5 base cards and 1 hit sounds high to me, but there are people who'll pay that. Anything higher than that and I honestly don't see the value. At $600/box (5 packs), I could see people buying this stuff. I just wish ITG would change the designs up a little. As an example, I don't see any difference between these stick racks and previous years. Everything is a blur now.
