    picking Baseballs for TTM

I am faced with a deli-ma. I would like to start sending in some baseballs TTM to some good players that are sure things.. Fingers, gossage, Trucks ect...

Question is, what brand of baseballs does everyone use? I have sent in ROMLB before but after a bit, those get to be pricey after awhile. Was looking for a more affordable ball that would display nice & not look like a cheap knock-off.

My local wal-mart has Rawling balls there that are called " Official League". First appearance they look nice, Think they will display nice But, it has a china stamp right above the sweet spot. Think i can remove that..

But what do you guys send? ROMLB's? Off brand? any suggestions. I dont want to break the bank on balls & i know ROMLB's are cheaper buy the case but still alittle to costly for me at this point.

If your planning on re-selling then the more expensive MLB Official baseballs would be the route to go, but if your not planning on re-selling and it's just for your personal collection then you can go with the Rawlings Official League balls or something like that.

Official league balls are the enemy. Yeah they're $3 apiece at Walmart but your auto will disappear pretty quickly.

The conventional wisdom here is ROMLB are not only king but the standard ball to get signed. Some people swear by Trump balls if you can find them- they are made with the similar qualities that make ROMLB great for autos and are much cheaper....if you can find them.

failing ROMLBs, you should only get 8x10s or cards signed. Going cheap on the balls will come back to bite you big time, while going cheap on cards and 8x10s is generally fine.

I woulds stick with the ROMLB's, expensive I know, but for the money they will hold the autograph better than anything else. Like everyone else I have tried cheaper balls in the past and they have faded.
