To take a Milbury quote (whom I think is a knob) The NHL has been pansified.

Yeah, I figured from previous posts on here that you and I would disagree on this one. :)
I prefer that the call be made even if it forces a powerplay at a crucial time, but to each their own when it comes to what they want to see. And if there's ever a time to swallow a whistle, I would agree that OT is the time to do it.
Love that qualifier on the MIlbury comment, too.

I'm old enough to have watched Milbury play out his entire career. He was a thug simply because he was a lousy Defenseman.
Terrible skater, and terrible hands on offense. He basically bullied players, just like he does now on the Hockey Set.
I see that Versus and NBC have separated him and J.R., before J.R. beats him senseless.

Wow. Ya think Canucks GM Mike Gillies is going to get a little fine for his comments about the penalty discrepancy?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I hope he does.
During the regular season the Hawks were the 3rd least penalized team in the NHL. Vancouver was 11th. Chicago had 265 minors Vancouver had 348. Seems to me that Chicago is a little bit more disciplined then Vancouver.
If they are so worried about it maybe they should score on the PP a little bit more.

Regardless of who it is NHL GMs/Owners should be able to speak their mind wtihout being fined. This always comes back to Bettman though, the NHL used to be a lot more entertaining.

LOL canucks are the most overrated team in post season history
listen the sedins are like having two teenage girls playing on your team
they will never ever take the canucks to any finals
luongo is definitely not good enough to win a Stanley cup, thats for dam sure
the 3 of them can dominate the reg season, but that means nothing in the post season

Gillis will (and probably should) get a fine. Hopefully the point gets across though and the refs step up instead of letting anything and everything (read: Bolland) go behind the play.

Blaming Luongo and the Sedins for game 4 and 5 either means you did not watch the game or do not realize that is was a team lost. Not one players in either of those games looked like they cared or wanted to win. Also I believe your crystal ball is very flawed. The beauty about playoffs hockey is it is unpredictable. Some players take more time to become successful in the important games (a more recent example would be Pavel Datsyuk). Also the past 2 seasons that the Canucks have lost to the Hawks, they infact lost to the better team (looking at regular season stats). If the Canucks lose this year in game 7 then you can call it choking as the Canucks had a better regular season team. So basing your predictions and assumptions over a hate for a certain team (vancouver) really just shows you either are looking for a reaction from its fans or you truly believe this.

Vancouver/Chicago Game 7 - Who Takes It?
Will we see one of the greatest comebacks/collapses in hockey history, or do the Canucks finally slay the Chicago dragon?
