    2009 Showcase Question....were these made?

Asked around on NUTS, but no one seemed to know....taking a shot in the dark and seeing if anyone here might know.

    Were these made?

2009 Showcase Classic Collections Firesuit Patch Michael Waltrip/David Reutimann #CCFP10
2009 Showcase Classic Collections Firesuit Michael Waltrip/David Reutimann #CCF10

The reason I ask is because I don't ever recall seeing even ONE of either of those. And given the fact that neither driver is a big name, you'd think at least a couple would've popped up when they were first released. I know there's some MW collectors on here, so maybe one of you guys have one/have seen one?

    Thanks for any help!

Jeremy...I saw one or the other in Cleveland during Nationals while they were doing the pack wars at the Press Pass booth. Don't know which one it was off the top of my head. The only reason I remember it was the guy who pulled it said out loud that he couldn't understand how Reutimann was in Showcase (obviously not understanding the theme of the set)...

Tony....you happen to remember if it was at least a firesuit version, and not the Sheetmetal or Tire ones? Thanks man.

Thanks man. Guess they do exist then. Kinda shocked one of either version has never popped up on eBay.

I am pretty sure they exist-for every other teammate card they made both firesuits (/25) and firesuit patches (/5) I dont see how they could just exclude MWR-maybe but I doubt it

dont think they were looks like they made the autograph version but not the firesuit.

That tenative checklist also says NONE of the memorabilia was made for MWR, when that's not true. I don't take too much stock into that.

Exactly....that's why I've always had them on my wantlist, but it's just really weird that I've never seen a single one. Of either version.
