Series Thread: Western Conference Final - Vancouver v. San Jose
Should be a great series.
GO CANUCKS GO!

Expect to see, in the not-too-distant future, Richard rocking the old-school Vancouver jersey!
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Rooting for the Canucks as well. Love the Sedins and would like to see Thorton never win a cup so go Canucks!

Well, this certainly wasn't what I was hoping to happen. The Canucks are up there as one of my least favorite teams in the NHL, and I hate Dany Heatley with a passion. I hope these two teams destroy each other

Go Sharks, hoping this could be our year. Thornton and Marleau need this to get everybody off their backs and proove that they can do it

This series will come down to the Sedins, plain and simple. If they can get rolling again, San Jose doesn't stand a chance. And I don't see them being nearly as ineffective as they were against Nashville.
Unless the Sharks can pull out some magic, I think you'll see the Canucks win this series in no more than six games. Of course, San Jose made it this far and has plenty of firepower itself, so who knows.

it will be a good battle. Vancouver has the best scoring line in this series, but if they get shutdown even some the rest of the team will need to find a way to step up and counter the scoring depth of San Jose (seven 20+ goal scorers this season)

I am saying Vancouver becuase I think Sedins are going to get off there slump and come hard. The last 2 games vs Nashville it looked like they were starting to do something for the team. San Jose has no chance if Kesler keeps playing the same as he has in the playoffs and if Sedins start playing like they did in the season this will be done in 5 games.

Will Boyle and Murray see the Sedins or Kesler?

I concur with that, and Oilfan.

I think so, then they can put either White or Vlasic's line on Kesler
