Sorry, what is absurd ? You basing your chatter to what cards you got back versus me watching several deals go down where people are favored who are willing to drio 2-3 grand at a time :)

Your grades and my grades are really moot to what I said, further proving that people do not read but regurgitate in discussion threads on most forums.

I have several 9.5 and 10's. I have never gotten a grade below a 9.5 on anything I have submitted. My point was money talks and $100 will make a 9.5 a 10 all day with Beckett :)

All grading companies are crap. The money factor ensures it and the lack of impartiality. If you disagree, that's your prerogative. I am remarking on what I have seen and seen as recently as the Atlanta Show Leaf and Atlanta Sports cards put on.

See Don't use ebay's Items on eBay

All businesses have their shady points. Used car salesman will lie about parts, Miles, etc. Food joints will lie about what they are serving you. The list goes on and on. The only thing is if you don't like grading, don't participate in it.

If any of you have proof of these shady practices then feel free to provide the irrefutable evidence to file charges in federal court............Otherwise you just have people spewing conspiracy theories

I my self dont understand grading either, to me its not a big deal and i only insist on graded cards if its a card that is usually counterfeited, however i do own 2 89 upperdeck psa 8's of the griffey rookie card and 1 of them is no where near as good as the other it looks like it got wet or something and is all wrinkled, i bought both of ebay and fortunatly for me i only paid about 15-25 for them.

Just got back 20 cards from BGS for the first time

I have never sent in cards because I was scared that I wouldn't send enough volume and they wouldn't grade high- I took a chance to see what would happen.

I got 14- 9.5's and 6- 9's! I was very happy with that. I will be sending more in for grading in the future!

I don't send cards in to grade, but only because of personal preference. Guess I am old school - don't need to pay someone to tell me what condition a card is in.....

I had a coupon for a "free" beckett grading with a $13 handling fee. I never used it then they sent me a letter pratically begging me to use their services. I bit on it and sent in an Alonzo Mourning 1992 classic promo card and a derrick rose 2008 fleer 3 in 1 card. Both of the cards were brand new with nothing wrong with them. Yo want to know what my grade was? 4.5. Let's just say that I wont be using their services any more.

That's my take also. I know if a coner is mint and if centering is perfect it do not take rocket scientist to see that.
