Worst Product so far, i think so !!!

hey, after my group break Of 1 case of Contenders Panini 10-11

From CNC, i realized how much this product was bad..


Don't get me wrong i had the Devils, and got so much hits

but so much doubles in 1 case

The hit of the case:

2 dual auto /25 draft day ( one including yzerman) not bad you say but a 12 boxes case of a 110$ product

2 tyler seguin were pulled, but no hall, subban, paajarvi, everle, kadri

Then 2 omark, 2 johansson, etc

So many double of rookies, it doesn't make sens to get 3 times the same rookie in 12 boxes..

That just my opinion, for 80-90$ this product would be cool, but for 110 ( the retail cost) or 140$ the LCS price you get too much insert not enough Hits that can be traded for a nice pc item, or even be sold

I know buying boxes is for fun, but ultimately you wanna get some nice traders, and diversity, but contenders doesn't bring that unfortunately

Was watching that too, I was definitly not impressed. Although the design is nice, they are trying to bring inserts back but the hobby world has moved on.

well thanks panini, sucks this SP, SSP bs, lesson learned but definitely overpaid for a Nino auto, now that I see 10 listed on ebay in about 2 hours ... when does 500 produced become a SP ?

Like yes they are nice, but we don't open boxes to get inserts lol

Like 4 auto cards are nice, but if it means there is 10000 copies of a Johansson auto rookie..i'm not happy about it...Make diveristy...

Right after that group break, there were 2 pretty damn good boxes.

Its a HORRIBLE product for a group break, but otherwise its not too bad.

malkin auto /50 thats 30$ if you are lucky, the rest was fine, he is lucky if he gets 100$ for all that..

Schenn thats 20-30$ but again depends on how much produced...

the rest was okay, the skinner is an insert..anyways

nothing to be impressed with, with SPA you get some guaranteed case hits with contenders, nothing is guaranteed except the 4 auto per box

I took the entire 2010-11 Season off for the hobby when I came back there was abunch of different cards that I didnt recognize, to be honest with you all I've seen from panini so far has been pretty bad. They seem to produce so much of one card. And in my opinion I cant stand the panini certified cards are just plain awful.

The contenders I cant comment on to much for I've only seen the base cards, they did look pretty nice to me. But I cant comment on how the inserts and such are handed out.

i saw a case break that had 3 brandon Yip redemptions, 2 paajarvi redemptions, 2 stepans, and 2 of another guy that i dont remember(i believe it was a dallas rookie)

yeah the inserts stuff is a joke and a good point by previous posters. who cares about an insert card? no one. i thought the same thing with limited. i honestly dont even care if the thing is ssp to 10 or 25, its still a piece of cardboard with no redeeming value. as a collector, i care about 4 things

1. True Rookie cards, preferably numbered
2. game used, and the simple crap jersey card is quickly becoming something i dont care about either.
3. Autos
4. complete base sets

thats it. dont waste my time with bs inserts. if you make a product with nothing but base and autos and the price is 10 bucks cheaper because there are no inserts, so much the better.

as a 90's collector, these comments about inserts makes me want to cry.

I can understand where you guys are coming from though when you spend close to a $100 on a box you don't want inserts.
