1994 Leaf Gold Stars Insert Set FINALLY Complete
After hunting down the Jack McDowell after years of searching I was able to complete my set today. Not sue why McDowell has been so hard to find. I thought he would be one of the easier ones to find since he is one of the more "common" players.

Congrats on finishing the set.. I find that the more common players in set building are usually harder to find because they fetch a much lower selling price then the big named players.. A seller is more willing to put up a big named player because they usually know that the card will sell.. Where as the common guy 9 times out of 10 wont sell and the seller loses out and it cost him some cash.. This is the problem I am having myself lol

Love this set. Hard to imagine I paid $40 for a Justice back in 1994. I still remember that day, and watching the bv go down practically every month after that until it leveled out at a buck and a half

I paid (actually my dad paid since I was only 11) $125 for the Thomas back in 1994. It was THE Thomas card to have back when 94 Leaf was released. Now you can pick it up for $4-8 on eBay! I love the 90's insert sets though. Hopefully one day these values will go up!
