Nervous / Scared / Excited
So the other day I busted my first hockey ever. It was a blaster of UD Series 2. In the last pack was a Seguin YG. Needless to say I was ecstatic. Today I added to my week of firsts by sending that card into BGS to get graded. I really hope I made the right choice. I am hoping for a 9.5. I would be thrilled to own a Seguin YG graded 9.5. And I am trying to prepare myself to not be disappointed if it comes back a 9. What have I done to myself? Have any of you send cards away to be graded? What was it like for you?

Congratulations on pulling the Seguin! worst case scenario if it grades something really bad just pop it out of the case! good luck

Thanks! I have been watching the Bruins throughout the playoffs and saw Seguin's debut and really wanted some of his cards but they are a tad high for me right now so to pull a YG was amazing. I've inspected the card thoroughly and it looks to be pretty stinking perfect. I'm hoping BGS thinks so too haha. And honestly, I never even thought of popping it out of the case lol, thanks for that idea!

I just noticed you collect him, so either way the grade is not that big of a deal, it would be if you were planning on flipping it where you would hope and pray for that high 9.5 grade. nonetheless keep us updated!

Yeah, I know I shouldn't be too concerned about the grade since I'm keeping it no matter what, I guess I just want that gem mint grade so the card will be a real nice piece to my collection. Either way, it was an awesome pull and I'm happy. :)

Hopefully you get it back with a 9.5, I sent in a Stempniak FW Auto for my collection and it came back 9.5

Nice! You must have been so excited.
Haha! I always heard the BGS grades easy so that people will be happy and send more in. Let's hope that's true!
What'd you send in?
