    Rate This Nash Patch

    Hey folks!

    Bit of a newbie here, looking to help value this Nash card.

    Link: http://s1176.photobucket.com/albums/...Sick_Patch.jpg

    BV = $100

    Considering the patch, what trade value would you attribute to this card?

    Thanks for helping!

    Wow, that is a beautiful patch! The BV is only $100 on that? Interesting. If the book value is $100 I would think sale value would be between 60 to 75% of that. So $60 to $75. It's a really nice card!

    Thanks Tivo

    If you were going to trade BV for BV, what additional value would you give this card due to the patch?

    With a great 4-colour patch I think you could easily ask for at least a 50% premium on top of the BV.

    Oh gosh, that is a much more difficult question haha. It depends on the type of card you're trading for. If the patches are pretty similar then I'd say it'd be equal. If the card you are trading for is a 1 color patch, I dunno, maybe $25 more? I would think the patch being that nice might give it between a $20 and $25 bump.

    There is a much better answer than mine! :)

    Would you distinguish between the two (2) reds on this patch, they're actually two (2) distinct colors and weaves. And is the inner white a piece of JSY or Patch? Wondering if I can call this a 6 color patch.

    Even in the picture it's a pretty clear 6 color. I don't think you're wrong or stretching it calling that patch 6 colors. It is a beautiful card.

    And the fact that Nash looks like he's been sitting on the toilet for an hour doesn't decrease the value? Hahaha ...

    So would that mean a 1-color patch is only 50% of BV?
